East Lyme - Thomas J. Bonelli, of Niantic, died on July 27, 2009, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1927, in New York City, the son of Joseph and Catherine Bonelli.

Mr. Bonelli served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Pfizer with 30 years perfect attendance
with the exception of one day for the birth of his second son, John. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a
volunteer fireman with the New London Fire Department and also volunteered at Bride Brook and at the Senior Center in
Niantic. He was also an usher at St. Agnes Church.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Squillante Bonelli; his sons, Thomas M. Bonelli and his wife, Janet, and John A. Bonelli and
his wife, Kym, all of Niantic, and Joseph M. Bonelli and his wife, Laurie of Westerly; his daughter, Kathy Saulter and her
husband, Steven, also of Niantic; his brother, Salvatore Bonelli of Florida; his sister, Anna Bowers of Michigan; and his
grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Brianna, Michael, John, Tara, Jesse, Tommy and Anna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in St. Agnes Church, 16 Haigh Ave., Niantic. Burial will be
private. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Agnes Church. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home,
Niantic, is handling arrangements.

We really do not understand why you had to go..
